Structured Asset Report

The Structured Asset Report provides an easy way to look at information about certain asset types. For example, if you want to know which Design has been applied to each page in your system, instead of going to the Settings screen of each asset, you can view this information via this report.

The following fields are available:

  • Report Name: by default, the name that was entered into the Report Name field when the report was created will appear in this field. You can change the name of the report by clicking into this field and entering the new Report Name.
  • Root Node: select the parent asset of the section within your system that you want to run this asset for. For example if you want to run it for the assets in your Site, select the Site as the Root Node.
  • Asset Fields: select which information you would like to see for each asset in the report. For example, if you want to see which Design has been applied to each asset, select Designs. The Short Name of the asset will be included in the report by default.
  • Asset Types to List: from the list provided select which asset types you want to include in the report. For example, if you want to show information for all Standard Pages, select Standard Page from the list. Check the inherit box to include the child type assets in the report. To add additional asset types click on the More button – an additional field will appear. You can add as many types as you want to the report. To remove an asset type from the report, click on the Clear box and click Commit.
  • Regenerate Report: by default, if the report has never been generated, no information will appear in this section, as shown in the figure above. Once the report has been generated, the date, time and which user generated the report will appear in this section, as shown in the figure below. Tip: The last version of the report that was generated is stored so that you can view it without having to regenerate it. If you want the latest version of your report, however, you need to regenerate it.

Report Screen

By default, if the report has not been generated, the Report screen will not show any information. Once the report has been generated, it will appear on this screen, as shown in the figure below.
